Crossovers are not permitted at the SuperNaturals as it is a British Open Championship. The only event where crossovers are allowed is at the WNBF UK First Timer Novice Championships

Q)
Can I bring my own camera / someone to film my day to the event?

Bringing your own cameraman is allowed in designated areas during the event. However, please note that filming is not permitted backstage or in the changing rooms for privacy and safety reasons.

Additionally, official photos cannot be taken in the auditorium.

Q)
Does having tattoos affect scoring?

In the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF), tattoos generally do not directly affect bodybuilding scoring. Judges typically focus on physique, symmetry, conditioning, and presentation rather than the presence of tattoos. We do however ask you to use the appropriate show tan and discuss with the show tanners their solutions that can help conceal and cover extensive tattoos.

If you are planning to compete, it might be a good idea to check directly with the WNBF UK's resident tanners regarding any specific concerns about tattoos and their appearance in the context of competition.

Q)
Will my class be split by height or weight?

At the WNBF UK, we divide Men's Physique Open, Classic Physique Open and Bikini Open classes by height:

- Short
- Medium
- Tall

Height cutoffs will be determined after registration, where we will re-measure all athletes to verify the accuracy of the height provided on their sign-up form

Bodybuilding Open is split by weight.

- Lightweight
- Middleweight
- Heavyweight

Weight cutoffs will be determined after registration, where we will re-measure all athletes to verify the accuracy of the weight provided on their sign-up form

Q)
How many Pro Cards do you award at your events?

Holding a WNBF pro card is a mark of distinction and the highest ranking Pro card in the natural bodybuilding world. It opens doors to compete within the highest-level WNBF PRO competitions around the world and can enhance the athlete’s career through increased visibility, potential sponsorships, and other opportunities.

The WNBF pro card signifies that the bodybuilder has reached a high standard of natural bodybuilding excellence and is recognized as a professional in the sport.

We award these Pro Cards to athletes of exemplary standard in their relevant divisions.

“How many” can not be determined until the event unfolds itself.

We have awarded between 1 and up to 10 in any WNBF UK event to date. We award Pro Cards across all divisions.

Q)
Is pump up equipment supplied backstage at events?

You are responsible for your own pump-up. Please bring bands and any other equipment you may need. WNBF UK will not provide equipment, though there may be some leftover bands from previous events.

Q)
What is a Novice Competitor? Can I compete as a Novice?

You are a novice if you are in one of two camps...

1- If this is your FIRST YEAR competing and you place in the top 3 in a contest prior to ours in the same year, you can still compete in our Novice classes. In your first-ever year of competing, you remain a NOVICE for the entire season, regardless of any top 3 placements.

2-  If you competed in ANY contest prior to this current year and **did not place- no top 3 place**. You **can** compete as a Novice—you are  STILL A NOVICE because you took no placings.

If you did place top 3 prior to this current year you are no longer a novice and must enter open divisions.

I’m taking medication to manage a health condition, but I believe it may violate the WADA Code. What should I do?

First, review the WADA Prohibited Substances List to confirm if your medication is restricted.

If your medication is on the list, you will need a letter from your doctor confirming that it is prescribed for a legitimate medical condition.

WNBF UK officials will then discuss with you the possibility of obtaining a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) to allow for competing with us.

Q)
If I have to take a polygraph test what will happen?

A polygraph test is used as an additional method to ensure natural status beyond drug testing. A polygraph test is in lay terms a lie detector test. The test will be carried out by a qualified polygraph examiner who will ask you a series of questions about your status as a natural bodybuilder.

Q)
If I need to get a drug test what will happen?

If you are selected for a drug test at a competition, it will typically be conducted via urinalysis. We will usher you to meet the drug control officer (DCO) once we require you to provide a sample. The DCO will accompany you to the restroom to ensure the integrity of the sample. You will deposit your sample into the designated receptacle and then transfer it into the specimen tube yourself. You will handle your sample throughout the process. Which will be overseen by the DCO. Afterward, you will complete the necessary paperwork that accompanies your sample. Your sample will then be sent directly to Kings College London and/or Redwood Toxicology laboratories for testing.
